¡Viva Mexico!
Twelve hours of a combination of boats, buses, and waiting… with one border crossing in between… has brought me into Mexico… a bit of a shock after being in Central America for almost three months… the towns here could almost be in the States somewhere… shopping malls, McDonald’s drive-thrus and whatnot… pretty creepy…
I’m in the town of Tulum… which is about 2 hours south of Cancun on the Caribbean coast. Tomorrow I’ll be visiting the Mayan ruins which are on a cliff at the shore… it’s supposed to be really pretty… then in the afternoon I’m hopping another bus to go an hour north to Playa del Carmen, another coastal resort city… but much less crazy than Cancun… and it has a couple really nice hostels… so I’m going to hang out there for a few days and get some more sun…

hey just a quick note to say hello. been watching your progress and glad to see you are in mexico (closer to the us). i guess you have almost a month to go? the pictures are awsome, when you get back, we have to pick out a good camera for me. well will write again tommorrow.

Kevin glad to see you have made it to Mexico. I love all the pictures you have taken especially the ones with you in them. It is assuring to see you smiling face all over central america. I hope you make the most out of your last month down there before long island drags you home. Talk to you soon

Hey Kevin, it is so cool to check your travelling adventure back from Brussels. The flight was ok, tomorrow working day…uf…gonna be very difficult. Have a great time, enjoy long sunny days and good luck until you reach NY. Good night, we go to sleep …finally. Lubi, Vierka, Helena and Paulina.
